The Dadsgotmoves journey began when he and his wife, Linda, met at a Long Island club in 1985 and discovered a shared love for music and dance. Born in Brooklyn on the same day (two years apart), they married in 1988, had three children, and brought music into every corner of their home. His improvisational dance moves, always aimed at making his kids laugh, first went public at his daughter’s Sweet 16 in 2011. Years later, in 2018, a casual kitchen dance to “Push Push in the Bush” was recorded by his daughter and posted on Barstool Sports, quickly going viral and sparking the launch of Dadsgotmoves on Instagram and TikTok.
Since then, Dadsgotmoves has grown to over 208K followers on Instagram and 249K on TikTok, earning viral fame and leading to appearances on The Ellen Show, Dancing with Myself, and Good Morning America. He’s starred in a music video, a Prudential commercial, and more.
